Series I Want to Start

There are so many series I want to start. And I always say that I am going to start them, and then I never do. I thought that if I have this list, I can hold myself accountable for something. So, when I forget to read this book, you guys can bully me into doing so. Most of these books are fantasies, which should be no surprise here, but it’s always good to note.

The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb

I have heard nothing but good things about this series, and I cannot wait to dive into this world. And I know there are many books in this world, so I feel like I am just going to have the best time.

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson

Similar to Robin Hobb, I know that I am going to find joy in this world and be extremely entertained by this gigantic world.

The Brown Sisters trilogy by Talia Hibert

I am not normally a romance reader, but I have heard nothing but praise for these books and I want to know what it is all about. This seems like the perfect series to read during the summer.

The Poppy War series by RF Kuang

I literally own the first book in this series. I talk about starting this series all of the time. I just never do. And I have no idea why. I want to read this book, yet I just choose not to start it.

The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir

This has necromancers in it and I honestly don’t need any more convincing to read this series than that.

The Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee

I know this series has a lot of love, but if I am being honest my main reason for wanting to read this is because I hear the fight scenes are accurate because the author practices martial arts and that is amazing to me.

The Broken Earth Trilogy by NK Jemisin

I love gods and gods stories, and I cannot wait to see the shenanigans these deities get up to.

An Ember in the Ashes trilogy by Sabaa Tahir

I have serious FOMO about this series and that’s my main reason for wanting to read this.

Charlotte Holmes series by Brittany Cavallaro

I love a good mystery, and I love a good gender-bent story. This just seems like a really great time.

Please, keep me accountable with this list. I am determined to get through it. I am sure I will read about twelve other series before I even touch these series. But as long as I’m reading, I’m good.
