Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa

This was a good sequel! Nothing too special, but it did not fall into the second book slump. The characters continued to develop in a way that really makes sense for their personalities. Also, there is a new romance in here that I am so here for, so that was really fun to read. We continue to explore the world, which is a great experience. The events in this book follow the events from the first in a really good way. The pacing was also faster in this book compared to the first. This book did not do anything wrong, it just was not incredibly memorable. If you liked the first book, I recommend reading this one. If you did not enjoy the first book, you will proabaly not enjoy this one. With this book and the first, it is a fun time. Nothing ground breaking, but throughly entertaining.
